Architecture

One of my long time fascinations (maybe even passions) is photographing historical interiors. Houses identify with an era, or with the people who live there for a long time. One look outside, however, is enough to realize that buildings needn’t be old (and perhaps worn out) to be interesting. Every type of architecture has this humane touch. A watermill shows its hand in its mechanisms and wood cracks. An office building shows a huge, dynamic system of people collaborating to achieve great feats. Even these days houses are still built by humans and their hands. (Sometimes quite literally, as my NRE project showed).

In this category, it’s all about capturing this kind of architecture.
