Design is deeply linked with any visual creative field. This website has a design (that’s hopefully pleasing and easy to navigate). Books and magazines need a clear design to create structure in the chaos of words and pictures. Interiors need a design to make the living room look comfortable and inviting.

In opdracht van DSM portretteerde ik de transformatie van de voormalige mijnstreek. Ik fotografeerde drie oud-medewerkers van De Staatsmijnen: een medewerker, een opzichter en een ingenieur. Zij wonen vijftig jaar of langer in hun huis. Ik fotografeerde hun interieurs.
