Commissioned by the City of Eindhoven, I documented this neighbourhood in the middle of the city of Eindhoven for 5 years.
The NRE site is a small but lively and creative area just outside the city center. The site was founded in 1899, and has a long history as a former gasworks site. It has since undergone a number of transformations. Eleven exceptional factories form the basis of the NRE site. The area is transforming into a small-scale, lively and creative city neighbourhood where housing, work and culture meet.
