Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen in Rotterdam, designed by city architect Ad van der Steur, closed in 2019 for a full-scale renovation and modernisation. Three days before its closure, I documented all the rooms, capturing the museum just before it fell silent. The renovation, led by Mecanoo under Francine Houben, is set for completion in 2029.
